Tavi Gevinson is my spirit animal.
In this speech, Tavi lets us into her world as both the extremely successful creator of Rookie magazine and a normal high school girl. She’s likable and witty, discussing topics from creativity (both of your own and finding yourself in the work of others), to fangirling (and being enthusiastic and passionate), to the stresses of influence in a constantly “traceable” world.
I’ve watched this speech three times and I find it even more entertaining and thought-provoking every time!
(P.S. Sorry for the corny title, it was too fitting to resist)
